Hypnobirthing is a complete antenatal programme which enables couples to prepare for the birth of their baby by reducing fear and increasing confidence in normal childbirth. Hypnobirthing enables you to work with your body the way nature intended.
Most people have a negative impression of labour and birth which we have been fed by the media and other people who have had bad experiences and so we develop fear and anxieties about birth. When we feel anxious and scared labour doesn’t well, and it is often more uncomfortable which may lead to more medical intervention.
Hypnobirthing is a unique way of reducing fear, and increasing confidence in normal childbirth through the use of relaxation and self-hypnosis, as well as learning some biology to understand how your body works during labour. Many experience a positive, comfortable and empowered birth experience when using hypnobirthing.
Who is Hypnobirthing for?
Hypnobirthing is inclusive for everyone, and for any type of birth. Whether you are aiming for a normal birth, and things take an unexpected turn, or if you're planning a caesarean birth; hypnobirthing will always make your experience more positive, and ensure you are in control and empowered.
